About Native Apparel

Native as a concept grew from the idea that wherever you are both literally and figuratively has significance. The attempt to be present in the now, and embrace the influences surrounding us gives credence to the approach I take on a design level. Native as a brand is dedicated to understanding the culture surrounding an audience and coming up with ideas that will leave lasting impressions.

Twelve years experience in brand development and visual storytelling for magazines and big brands has presented a natural way for me to apply my own creations into local markets. The idea is to create locally, and support locally: One Home. One Land. One Source.

Just this year I put into production a line of apparel that showcases designs both for local audiences as well as visitors. The goal really is to bring the same big name design quality to our local communities.

From Ventura County to Santa Barbara and back down to parts of LA, we're cultivating an audience that appreciates the value attached to unique, locally created products.

10 to 20% of our merchandise profits go to various local nonprofits. Specifically dedicated to animal rescue organizations and school art programs.
